I really enjoyed Remy O'Brien's "Down To My Last Egg".
In her one act, Remy brings the audience in her self reflecting journey of the anticipation of motherhood. Remy, also encompasses with humor and realism, the other characters involved in her story. I especially enjoyed the anxious mother of the main character. So, if you're up for seeing a fun, short and sweet one act, I recommend this one. ...
Remy proved engaging through the entire performance which is hard to do in a one-person show! Her ability to transition between humor and raw emotion was very well done--super impressed! ...
I appreciate Remmy for sharing her private story.
Although it is such a sensitive topic, I laughed all the way through and also cried.
I felt what she was feeling and as I am holding my last egg, I felt I am not alone. WE are not alone, ladies!!!
Only one more show on the 17th. Highly recommended!
Wonderful writing, directing, and performance!
This show is incredible. Remy shares her experiences with honesty and in a mostly lighthearted tone, but by the end she is visibly emotional. It is moving to watch her connection to the personal material. Congrats to her for sharing her story and presenting it so well in a meaningful and memorable way.
I am grateful for the story, so well written and told by Remy. She took me through the story with laughter, engagement, sadness and shared true emotion. I felt engaged throughout the entire play and was ready for more in her brilliance in sharing all sides. I look forward to her next performance, she is a true talent. ...
