What I liked
Full disclosure: I won tickets to this and got the Royal Treatment! This show takes inspiration from In Living Color. Diverse variety show with a focus of comedy. Celebrating differences. Diverting stereotypes through comedy. There is sketches, standup, dancing, music, and it’s an hour long. How can you go wrong?! Turn it into a television show and I’ll watch it every week.
What I didn't like
Less of a play and more of a variety show. Wouldn’t change that a bit, but good to know what you are going to see.
My overall impression
A mosaic not a melting pot. I can only really compare it to In Living Color which I grew up with. This play is a celebration of differences! I’m so grateful for that.
