My overall impression

Wow. I really enjoyed this play. Phenomenal writing. Spot on casting. And the shocking surprise ending was super satisfying. Endge-of-the-seat tension, good laughs, and ripped from the headlines subject matter. This play is of the moment. Fantastic.

10/10 Hollywood Fringe Festival theater.

This was a great experience across the board.

The writing stands out as A+ storytelling. (Someone is going to adapt this into a film. It’s prime material for a movie adaptation.) The characters are complex, the tension throughout the play builds to a point where the entire audience was literally all leaning forward in anticipation of the final twist. Audible gasps when the twist is revealed. It’s shocking.

George Hale and Landon Tavernier are perfectly cast and both give outstanding performances. The tension they ratchet up and maintain is exciting. Hard to watch and impossible to turn away.

Catch this play during this run while you can. It’s not going to be in this intimate theater setting for long, someone is going recognize this as big stage potential or movie adaptation potential and snatch up the rights. It’s that good.
