What I liked
For me, Ai really made this show everything it is. I loved the focus on an immigrant woman and the comedy that was infused throughout. I’m so impressed that Ai, produced AND starred in it. I also loved the use of video within the show.
What I didn't like
Really the only thing that I felt could have been improved was the venue. It was a little distracting when the door would open after the show started and light would shine into the theatre. Would be helpful if the theatre could put up a curtain or something to avoid that when there’s a matinee show.
My overall impression
Loved it! Ai is a joy to watch. The show is so funny, yet also moving. I didn’t want it to end! It’s rare to find a one woman show that can keep you laughing. Ai is charming, funny, engaging, and the show is a pure delight.
