What I liked
She really played up her expectations and the realities. My favorite was assuming there would be a woman in charge of her first college. The videos were a huge hit. Possibly the biggest laughs from the crowd. I loved the subtle thing of Ai being taller than her father when she finished high school.
What I didn't like
Lighting was a little off focus. I wonder if the ending line (I’m Americanized now!) could be tied more into the River Phoenix and dad-dutifulness journeys.
My overall impression
Really fun show about Ai finding her place in the world. Colorful cast of characters. Hilarious asides – there is a lot there.
