My Own Private River Phoenix

What I liked

Ai is a charmer, and she tells a great tale. Would love to hear more of her standup. I enjoyed her performance, and felt it was empowering for women at the end.

What I didn't like

Unfortunately on the night I went there some very rude girls in the audience. Their over-the-top screechy laughing was so distracting it pulled focus away from the performer. So loud it hurt my ears, and no one else was laughing like that. I missed story lines being said, and that made it confusing, it seemed like Ai was having to wait for them to finish their response before she could continue, ruining the natural flow. I hate it when the audience pulls focus from the performer. The girls owe her an apology.

My overall impression

I really loved Ai. Her performance was endearing, and I loved hearing her stories.
