What I liked
I really enjoyed how she brought her ethnic culture into the play and carried it throughout the show.
What I didn't like
I wish that there was more time after the show to interact with the actor in the theater. It would be great if there was more time for a Q & A.
My overall impression
Ai captivates the audience from the very beginning of the performance and brings us on her journey of family, independence, love, and sacrifice. She is authentic through and through. “My Own Private River Phoenix” has everything—laughter, suspense, conflict, and personal growth.
