These portraits of Manson and his followers are richly colored by the cast, musicians, director and choreographer. The actors are totally committed to the irrational characters they portray, avoiding caricature, and there is much hilarity until violence erupts, A sweet prayer sung by Sharon Tate to her unborn child gives startling counterpoint to Manson’s rage. Nicely done.
What I didn't like
All the performances and interactions were grounded and finely tuned. Don’t change a thing.
My overall impression
Manson’s Girls exceeded all expectations. Superb ensemble work.
