What I liked

The simple and casual setting. It was like being invited into someone’s apartment to witness a private conversation. Both actresses were great and believable. Left me pondering when I’ve done something amoral just because I was paid to do it and had to make ends meet. Would I be capable of standing up for my principles in a situation when my job depended on it?

What I didn't like

I wished it had been longer, didn’t realize the play ended when it did
And anonymous reviewers who state that “many “reviewers” on here, in fact almost all, are trying to be supportive of a production that has nothing going for it.” Yet he or she has to hide his or her identity to express his or her opinion and dare to criticize other reviewers who might have actually enjoyed Skin Jobs. Care to reveal who you are???

My overall impression

I enjoyed the great acting and how engaging Skin Jobs was. One Asian woman has been tasked with digitally enhancing an actress face to make her look Asian, even though she’s white and her best friend is shocked that she’s actually going to do it. What drove the message home is how much more outraged was her friend than her. Suddenly you’re entrapped in their argument and can’t quite decide whose side you’re on.
