As someone who works in Hollywood, this play really struck a chord. I think it touches on things that so many of us struggle with. In an industry that is built on fantasy, how do you address the very real concerns of whitewashing and misogyny? ... full review

I enjoyed the great acting and how engaging Skin Jobs was. One Asian woman has been tasked with digitally enhancing an actress face to make her look Asian, even though she’s white and her best friend is shocked that she’s actually going to do it. Skin Jobs is a very smart and thoughtful play. It was succinct and the perfect length to get it's point across and leave the audience wanting to continue the conversation after the show. The story is very current and relatable, especially for those of us in the industry. But anyone, industry working or not, will be invested in this show because it digs into the current big issues in entertainment that everyone sees such as racism and whitewashing in big tentpole films that dominate the box office and movie industry year round.... full review
