What I liked
I loved Ty’s ability to round out a full cast on his own. I was fully engaged during the whole piece and left feeling emotionally exhausted, but fulfilled. I can’t wait to see his next project. I am definitely a new fan.
What I didn't like
Occasionally I lost the thread of the story. This could be because of my tired Fringe brain, but perhaps refocusing a few interchanges could help brain dead audience members like myself.
My overall impression
Ty Pickett is not only a intriguing writer, but a fascinating actor to watch as he moves in and out of the many characters he portrays in this piece. Dumbing down absolutely nothing for his audience, he demands that we think and think fast as he tells the stories of several men in crisis and explores their identities and confining labels.
