What I liked

The original music by Bobby Beus and Caleb Martin is delightful. I still have Don’t talk about me like i’m not here in my head. The lyrics are clever and the dialog is zappy. The show really does mention every Julia Roberts movie shoved into one hour and its amazing that Bobby Beus was able to fit them all in there in some way shape or form. The cast is strong and their vocal talents are great. Stand out performances by Matt Kriger, who’s Stucky in Pretty Woman is a showstopper and Taylor Mosekvits who take on so many differnt Julia roles I can’t mention them all. Haley Ashlin is the reason to see this show. She is delightful. From them moment the lights came up she never leaves the stage and has a stellar voice. You root for her and celebrate her triumphs and she even gets you to shed a few tears at the end. This one is not to be missed as it will likely sell out if last nights enthusiasm is any indication. I feel like I stumbled into a hidden gem in the hundreds of shows to see this summer and I highly suggest you get your tickets right now. I might even go back I enjoyed it that much.

What I didn't like

There were tech and sound issues last night, but those will be ironed out and the cast handled them all very professionally. Everything else was 5 stars.

My overall impression

Funny. Funny. Funny. I was hoping for good laughs last night to get over a bad day and this show delivered ten fold!
