About the Project
THE TRUTH * is a physical comedy show using neo-classic clowning, modern mime, and vaudevillian humor to deconstruct the historical narrative that has been dominant for years. In this original, devised piece we’re looking to highlight the inaccuracies in the one sided narrative we tend to learn in history class, from the news, and from social media. In doing so, we learn to understand that every history has a different story and sometimes the right story is not relevant, but the experiences of the people always are.
