About the Project
“Temporarily Yours” is a solo show written and performed by Claudine Bryant. “Temporarily Yours” is the story of “Corrine” an aspiring actress who supplements her income as an office temp. “Corrine” struggles with faith and fear while pursuing her passion. It is the story of a committed artist made to choose between her craft and what is needed to survive and live a fulfilling life in New York City. The show takes the audience on a humorous journey as Claudine portrays different characters in various office settings and shares a part of her personal experience as a starving yet resistant artist in The Big Apple. “Temporarily Yours” has been featured at many solo show festivals throughout New York City such as Stage Left Studio’s Solo Showcase, Emerging Artist’s One Woman Standing Series, and most recently the 12th Annual One Festival. It has been performed at The Producer’s Club, Stage Left Studios, TADA Theatre, Pregones PRTT and Teatro Circulo Theatre. It also premiered at Jersey City Theatre Company’s Merseles Studios as a part of their Fear Series this past Fall.
