What I liked

I’m in awe at how versatile Charlotte is as an artist. The story was well laid out and so emotionally touching from the start. She’s such a talented performer who seemlessly switches between highly distinct and fully developed characters. The laughs were spot on. The songs were very well written and sung. And for a Fringe show it was technically packed with impressive and engaging light, sound, and video cues. All around wonderful and inspiring.

What I didn't like

Only small things, but the some of the music sounded like obvious MIDI scores. But hey that’s fringe. Also, there were a couple dance moments that looked too much like contemporary TikTok dances that didn’t seem to fit the tone of the rest of the show.

My overall impression

Masterfully executed, deeply touching, and achingly hilarious, Di Lady Di is a must see at this year’s Fringe!
