Great songs, music, costumes, Charlotte Munster owns the stage and brings everything to life with tasteful respect for the real life story as well as the right level of irreverence for how the pressures of the Royal Family contributed to her downfall. You will simply marvel at how this can all be performed by one person.
What I didn't like
People not alive for the death of Princess Diana might find there are a few gaps with the story and it’s telling. But I think ultimately the show makes wise decisions on what to delve into and what to skip over.
My overall impression
Anchored by a knockout performance from Charlotte Munson and tailor made to the incredible music from Richard Munson this is one of the best solo shows I’ve seen in the seven Fringe Festivals I’ve been a part of! Scott Golden has an absolute gem on his hands. Charlotte is giving us a show stopping Broadway show with a cast of seven, but she’s doing it solo! This is mastery at work and one of the must-see shows of this year’s festival!
