What I liked
Everything! I thought I knew a lot about Princess Diana, but I learned so many new things watching this show. Munson really did her research. She takes the audience through a life-span story in under an hour, giving both humor and weight to heavy and difficult topics. I was very impressed with how carefully she handled difficult topics, like disordered eating and physical abuse. She was very intentional about which moments would be heavy and which would be light, and it worked like a charm. The show was overflowing with metaphors, my favorite of which was walking through the minefield, and beautiful nods to modern day creators.
What I didn't like
No notes! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
My overall impression
Charlotte Munson is a star. The show was immaculately written and performed. I shed many tears and laughed harder than I have in weeks. I was so moved and emotionally present the entire time. Like the poster said, it’s about time a woman told this story. This is a massive accomplishment and I can’t wait for the world to see it. Thank you for sharing it with us!
