Structurally sound: I felt Charlotte wrote beautiful songs that started in well chosen moments in the story.
Charlotte is very naturally funny in her writing and cheeky at all the right times in her performance, which lifted us between the more serious moments. I also felt she tackled these with respect and grace: championing her title character’s perspective first and foremost.
What I didn't like
I look forward to seeing a longer version, I hope they expand it.
My overall impression
BRITAPPROVED!
I was really taken aback by how well the story was told and with Charlotte’s perfect British accent as well as nods to British culture. Her characters were really well established and it was easy to connect with Charlotte’s Diana and invest in her story.
