I cannot really express how miraculous this show was. In an hour - AN HOUR - the actress playing Diana (who also wrote a lot of the songs), told this incredible and tragic woman's story with charm, humor, grace, and heartbreak. I... I'm in awe. This show is an absolute must see! If you only see one show this year, make it this one. Tremendous performance by Charlotte Munson who wrote and starred in this one woman musical. The music was both haunting and uplifting and Charlotte's singing, glorious. The story of Lady Diana was presented in a surprisingly fresh and personal way, told with smart comedic touches and heartfelt empathy for the difficulties Lady Di faced from her fraught childhood to her failed marriage. The technical aspects of lights and projections were really effective in carrying the story forward, as were the creative use of costumes and props. A very powerfully moving production! Charlotte Munson is a force to be reckoned with. She can sing and move with grace and wit and her acting almost elevates this show from its mundane story line into something spectacular. Unfortunately that doesn't happen.... full review
