What I liked
Really solid ensemble work. I loved how the actors managed to remained unfazed and continued their performance in spite of what the audience was doing trying to solve the clues… yet they were also very aware of us and engaged with us and their performance.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything. I think this is a piece that could work well in a non traditional theater space
My overall impression
Escape from Godot was amazing!!! It was a really ingenious immersive experience blending good theater with escape room. The performers did Beckett justice and the puzzles were ingenious and creative. I think it satisfies both the theater nerds and escape room fanatics. I hope this becomes a thing beyond the Fringe because it is so good!
