What I liked
the concept, the acting, the production design, the overall experience
What I didn't like
Honestly, I just wanted to be longer!
My overall impression
“One Last Thing Before You Go” is the most fascinating, mind-expanding theatrical experience I’ve had in a long time.
The less you know about what happens the better, but the concept of the show is so intriguing, I’m jealous I didn’t think of it.
I’m new to the world of immersive theater, but I really did feel truly immersed. My choices not only affected, but defined, the outcome of the piece. And the actors did an incredible job of seamlessly incorporating whatever information I gave them to make it feel real, poignant, and mysterious.
It’s been a week since I attended this show, and I’m still replaying aspects of it over and over again in my mind.
Aaron Vanek and Krirsten Hageleit have really crafted something special here, and I hope the run gets extended so more people can experience what it’s like to be that one lucky audience member.
