What I liked
Really strong actors and a well framed script make this Hollywood ‘ kitchen sink drama’ work . Both me and my 13 year old were fully drawn in throughout. It never lags despite a lot of dialogue and verges into the darkness just enough without being sexploitative.
What I didn't like
I think the climactic turn is surprising in the sense of not enough build up to it. The videos and image montages were essential but seemed really a tad too long. (That was the only place the work seems to lag). Works as a two act but could use at least one more scene to earn the freak plot turn.
My overall impression
Great character and theme driven drama that’s just the right line between intense and fun. An insightful engaging play about things. Excellent acting and tight writing over all. Such a refreshing contrast from fluffy stuff. See it!
