The Oz Monologues

What I liked

The costumes were excellent. The show had a good pace. The Wicked Witch was hilarious! She reminded me of Joan Crawford/Mommy Dearest with her delivery and her sharp emotional pivots. I loved how the actress made the character mean and wicked but also sympathetic and so, so funny. Her monologues were my favorite part of the show.
Also loved the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion. The Tin Man gave his character such depth, and my daughter was impressed with his ability to stand still for such a long time.

What I didn't like

Dorothy could slow down a bit and articulate so the audience could better understand her.

My overall impression

A fun show with great costumes and a hilarious Wicked Witch!
