I felt the writing was informative, but not too expositional. I really appreciated this. The acting was very strong and I think it was a very strong ensemble! I felt them all feeding off each other and the chemistry felt natural and cohesive. Standout performance was Alex Skinner (who played Posey), who I thought was most natural in his delivery. I get really weary of “shouting conflict scenes” and people just yelling for the heck of it…but I really appreciated his specific choices. I feel like its a fine line, especially in such a small space. It’s a difficult feat, and I was impressed!
What I didn't like
Would y’all consider making this a musical in the future? hehe I’ll pay double for that ticket!
My overall impression
Overall I felt this was a meaningful production that was well written, performed and executed. I appreciated the strong performances and think they really paid homage to the story. Refreshing, informative and educational! I hope this production/story has a life beyond the fringe…it’s a story I think people will appreciate and value!
