Good organization of the core material for maximum dramatic effect.
What I didn't like
Since the show runs a full 80 minutes, some family visuals would enhance it.
My overall impression
The murder of starlet Rebecca Schaeffer in 1989 was just a piece of morbid Hollywood history to me so I welcomed the chance to hear her mother’s POV—-and I was not disappointed. Danna Schaeffer recreates in dramatic detail her reactions at that pivotal time, as well as a brighter “Before” (in Italy) and a sadder “After”, as she and her husband Benson (also present) coped and healed—-in spite of the efforts of well-meaning friends. The full house was silent and attentive to her barely-projected whispery voice. Unforgettable, because it’s true.
