What I liked
I was deeply moved by this show and pleasantly surprised by the humor that flowed throughout. But isn’t that how life is? Don’t we have to continue to find humor in daily life in order to go on when tragedy strikes? The brutal honesty is so powerful and even though a parent losing a child is the worst case of victimization, I never thought of Danna as a victim during the entire show. She is a heroine, through and through!
What I didn't like
I felt there are places in the show that could use a little more interesting direction. Less telling us what you are going to do and then doing it.
Also, as compelling as the story is, I feel it could be shortened by about 10 minute to be even more powerful and effective.
My overall impression
Danna’s willingness to bare her soul in telling the horrific story of her daughter’s murder is so stunning! It’s just a beautiful tribute to her daughter and her family and it is a testimony to how you must go on, no matter what happens. It is brave and powerful and it took my breath away in many instances.
