What I liked
The acting was stellar and the script was tight. The reveals came at just the right times. I’m typically not a fan of one-room dramas, but this was really fantastic. Moving and thought-provoking. Really asks the question: do the ends justify the means?
What I didn't like
One of the characters has a change of heart close to the end of the climax and I would’ve like to have seen a little more build up their decision to gang up on one character. Speaking vaguely so as not to spoil. One second they were of one mind, the next the opposite. It was jarring to me mostly because the play had been so good up until then in regards to paying close attention to character motivations. Other than that – seriously, give this a watch.
My overall impression
A fascinating character drama about politics – not necessarily the issues, but about the system itself and what people will do for power. Very moving, I was engaged the whole time and felt so, so bad for poor Colt,
