Really liked the humor, the intimacy and the vulnerability of the show. LOts of great twists and turns.
What I didn't like
Its unclear for the first 20 minutes exactly what the journey is and if he did a radical jump start it might help. I would start the show with him running on stage saying something like…“I got to get out of this” or something unexpected but addresses the central question of getting tangled in a cultish group.
My overall impression
A very funny, intimate look into a young man’s crazy life with his family and Guru. Full of vulnerability, humane insights, projected archive visuals, live music and many characters all played by Rob Brunner. I laughed a lot and was touched.
