My overall impression
Brave writing radiates through the vulnerability of a 11year old girl, isolated and struggling with the meaning of life and death, hope and dreams of flying. What a beautiful lyrical philosophical journey we go on with Charlotte, while she crafts together new wings from an old kite and daydreams about the neighborhood boy she had a crush on. Her fears are a palpable, her curiosity universal, and her dreams are BIG. All from the delicate intimacy of her attic. Thank you for an entrancing night of theatre and heart-filled exploration of love.
