What I liked

Exploration Rewards Brave Players: Horror games encourage players to search every room despite the danger. Valuable items, hidden documents, keys, and supplies are often tucked away in risky locations. Exploring thoroughly usually leads to better equipment and a deeper understanding of the story.

What I didn't like

Storytelling Through the Environment: Instead horror games of explaining everything through cutscenes, many horror games tell their stories through abandoned buildings, bloodstained walls, scattered notes, and mysterious recordings. Players slowly piece together what happened as they continue exploring.

My overall impression

Every Enemy Feels Dangerous: Unlike action games where enemies appear in large groups, horror games usually introduce only a few powerful threats. A single monster can become terrifying because defeating it isn’t always possible. Escaping often becomes the smartest strategy.
