What I liked

I loved the used of other media and I loved that Kathryn added so much physical movement and variety through song and dance and mime. One person shows can be monotonous to watch. The audiences’ eyes get tired of just staring at one person for an hour or an hour and a half, especially if that person barely moves. But Katherine never stopped moving! She also added such variety and all of her characters by changing her voice all the time! She keeps it moving so you stay on the edge of your seat!

What I didn't like

She needs a bigger venue, LOL! The theater looked sold out. And all of her movements would do very well in a bigger stage. The music could have been louder but I think that’s because they were trying to be respectful of the other shows going on during the fringe Festival in the same theater. Seriously, there’s nothing else I can think of that could have made this show better. The show was wonderful!

My overall impression

Kathryn Smith does a beautiful job taking on multiple characters, their physicalities, and voices! The content of this show is serious but Kathryn does a nice job threading in some humor. Loved how she used a variety of media. She uses a projector, overhead music through the speakers, a live voice from backstage, and she herself sings, and dances, and mimes! She is spectacular and brings a very important subject to the awareness of sold out houses!
