What I liked

I loved the RAP song that opens and closes the play. The dance with the mask is particularly moving. I love all of the different voices and characters that she floats between as she paints the audience a picture of this world that she inhabits and her point of view. It’s clear that this is a subject close to the heart of Kathryn and she has a wonderful spirit to have written a show like this. God Bless her!

What I didn't like

Can’t think of anything I’d change!

My overall impression

I was greatly moved by the message in this beautifully written and executed solo show. I loved the central character, the funny, witty, and positive homeless woman who is a friend to all she comes in contact with. Her attitude is amazing even though she’s on the streets. When I left the play, my eyes were even more open to the large number of homeless people we have in our city of LA. Kathryn’s play definitely educates us about this serious issue!
