Kathryn Taylor Smiths' compassionate view of homelessness will touch the heart of all. Based on real life events of love and loss in America she unfolds issues of real people down on their luck, mentally ill, and heart broken; yet fighting to stay alive. Smith combines historical events told through the images of shoes and who wore them; amazed at their life or the life they use to have. ...

It’s about empathy and stepping into another person’s world, even if just for a moment. If we took the chance to walk a mile in each other’s shoes, maybe we’d replace judgment with understanding and distance with compassion. Thoroughly impressed! Kathy played multiple characters while utilizing multiple dialects, and moved from one to the other seamlessly. If I didn’t know better I’d have thought she had multiple personalities. I was completely amazed and would seriously consider seeing it again. It had humor, compassion and was very thought provoking at the same time. I will never look at a homeless person the same. Thank you, Kathy. Bravo!...

My husband and I were blown away with creativity and talent Kathryn displayed in this show. The show was a spectacular performance, the writing was brilliant and opens your eyes to our homeless population. This is a very important message and Kathryn is able to put you in their shoes through the characters she brilliantly plays. I would highly recommend this show to anyone and any age.
