What I liked

Madison’s energy throughout the show was truly impressive. Not just physically( though that was impressive too given it’s a solo show) but his charismatic energy as well. The old school video clips of QVC were fun and informative for me because I hadn’t seen them before. And I loved the juxtaposition of Madison’s more colorful truer self FREEda Slave. Especially when she sets herself free at the end and plays out her Diana Ross dreams- Madison is poignant and on point.

What I didn't like

I loved hearing about Madison’s past- in particular how Madison was one of the first people to ever stand up for and win rights for his partner at the time. I wanted to hear EVEN MORE of this powerful chapter of his life as well as others.

My overall impression

Fabulous inside peek into Dale Guy Madison’s fascinating life and career. You might remember Madison as one of the first African American hosts on QVC back in the day but his solo show illustrates how much more he truly is.
