The two stories being told side by side. The emotions it stirred up for both families and the longing for this type of honest dialogue in the real world. Thank you.
What I didn't like
For me, the actors coming and going down the middle aisle didn’t work and in fact was distracting and slowed down the momentum in each scene. I wished the direction would have gone even further with the artistic and beautiful overlapping scenes/stories and the families sharing the same space for their living room. I’d also love for the show to find more humor, love, and light moments within each family unit so that the tragedy is even more tragic.
My overall impression
A poignant look at our American Culture and what we do to survive and asks the question — who is really the villain?
