What I liked

I loved the set design. I thought that using the home set really worked for both families and brought the audience into the journey of the characters. The writing was absolutely fantastic and poignant to the time we’re living in and the commentary on all the brutality going on in the country and how it changes both sides was a fresh take. Everyone gets a beat and a signature moment. I especially like the idea that all of the characters in the play have been villianized or have those tendencies about them, just as people do and how things can be twisted so easily.

The incorporation of news footage was a nice piece for transitions and was very functional for the space.

What I didn't like

Potentially a better incorporation of the plaintiff/defendant which is what I’m assuming the two people towards the end are?

My overall impression

I thought the show was absolutely incredible across the board. The execution from the cast and the set worked to show the two sides of how one incident can tear apart and change the lives of families drastically.
