What I liked
I was hooked on the story since the beginning of the show, trying to figure out what was happening and the reason these two characters behaved this way.
The performances from both actors were the best part. They embodied their characters’ struggles as they tried to tell their stories and dropped hints of how they got to where they were.
As for the space and the set, I loved the simple yet complicated movement of books and the changes in lightning.
What I didn't like
The way the subtitles work, as they weren’t synced with the performances during a lot of the play and it took away from the performance for people who didn’t speak Spanish.
My overall impression
This show was a breath of fresh air. Coming into the show, I didn’t really know what to expect when it came to the plot. I found an original piece of theater with a well-developed story and outstanding performances by both of the lead actors.
