About the Project

An ensemble cast navigates the audience through a woman’s perspective of life in urban America with universal themes. Through a collective lens, the women share a story of love, community, loss & grief, race & identity with themes of liberation theology. PIECES the Choreopoem is a unique experience of performance poetry fused with orignial score, film and theatre. Stories include (not limited to): race & identity, police brutality, miscarriage, romance, parental neglect, sex trafficking, theology & ethics. Explicit content.
