This is a show with a message that needs to be sung from the mountain tops - while short, (a mercy, considering the heavy subject matter) the play manages to take us through the entire lived experience and perspective of what it's like to be a victim of "the gray" areas of sexual assault. It's a piece designed to open dialogues about consent, particularly on college campuses, where discussions about these things are greatly needed. It's an incredible, educational look into different perspectives like we haven't seen before. The Gray should be required viewing for everyone at least once!... full review

Bravo to the Lady Parts Collective for the clarity of their mission and ability to use their artistic voice to activate change! This project bravely and directly addresses sexual violence and rape on college campuses with professionalism, excellence, respect, and urgency. It's pretty incredible to know that this has been a 3-year co-writing process. This is community-based social change work at its finest!!... full review

Everyone, everywhere needs to see this. It's so important on every level that we understand these dynamics. Seeing this as a performance helps frame how we should behave when it happens in everyday life. It's emotional and intense, but it flows beautifully with intermittent humor to lighten the darkness. If I would have been exposed to something like this prior to college, I could have helped so many more people who went through this understand their options, and know they weren't alone. So many people are terrified of what this play showcases, and that makes it even more important to expose.... full review
