What I liked
I love not only the actresses skill as individuals, but how well this ensemble works together. I love this theater! Go New Collective, your sound system should win awards. The opportunities for playful storytelling via the draped fabric imagery, the music, Fernando’s choreography and the cast’s loveable dance sequences, I thought Camille and team made some very nice choices. Really makes me feel the transition between today and a world from long ago, lost but somewhere…
What I didn't like
I have no notes. Please give this production an extension. I’d love to see it paired with Othello & Otis on a tour.
My overall impression
I absolutely cannot say enough about this play: it is a visually stunning, poetically written, beautifully acted, contagiously choreographed, audible treat.
