What I liked
There was so much material in this show that we can all identify with – our loves, our losses, our successes, our failures. I left feeling better about the world and my place in it.
I thought this story was wonderfully written and the two actors that I saw, Jahmone Duhaney and David Garelik, were fabulous. I’m hoping to see more of Greg LaVoi’s work.
What I didn't like
I don’t know that anything could have been improved. But, I’m always looking for the happy ending, and kept hoping that Jake would “wake up”. He had so much more to share. But now that he has shared with us, it’s up to us to take this message and pass it on.
My overall impression
I saw both the 12:00pm and the 12:30pm show on Sunday, June 24, 2108. I loved the story, the sentiment, the compassion, and the love that was expressed so clearly. It was amazing to me that the same story could be told by two different actors in such a unique way. They both touched me immensely.
