Even for a 10:30pm performance, the audience was hooked which is a testament to both the actor and writing. I loved the simplicity of the set and light design. I think it’s incredibly smart for the production to be using four different actors and I wish I couldn’t seen all four of their interpretations

My overall impression
I Died Today is a brief yet effective look at the self; past, present, future. It successfully captures the audience’s attention in a 20 minute cycle of acceptance and reflection, which Michael Orlandi fills with nuance, layers and warm humanity. It evoked not only the narrative’s experiences in life, but that of the individual audience member’s, too, and I left feeling like I too had died. It’s so simple, yet incredibly human and profound.
