What I liked
It told a story.
What I didn't like
The play could be a bit shorter. The stage could have been set up with the different locations; at the same time, the changes were frenetic and perhaps added to the pacing.
My overall impression
It was a fun care-u-sell ride with plenty of laughs—some of them might be uncomfortable for a PC crowd. It tried to cram a convoluted story—but one that could be followed fairly easily (with a healthy sprinkling of disbelief)—into such a small setting. One of the themes of this play is possession is 9/10 of the flaw. (Here, possession could be anything, including blow). You’re entering a circle-jerk of 12-step programming where Hollywood producers, sponsored by other Hollywood bigwigs attending a myriad of 12-step programs, have side jobs as sponsors. One sponsor has cut them down to three.
