Calling something a “gut punch” might not seem complimentary but it is absolutely meant as one here. This is such a powerfully executed show. One of the best and most important shows at this year’s Fringe. I also really appreciated the talk back afterward. I also loved the use of the scarves to represent fire. It was hugely effective.
What I didn't like
I would’ve liked the show to have been even a bit longer. I know that’s a lot to ask of such an already gut-wrenching story but I’d love to see this show picked up and expanded through a longer theatrical run.
My overall impression
A phenomenal show. Utterly harrowing, thought-provoking, important and well performed. A must-see.
