What I liked
The over-all story could be a real good piece of work. The supporting actors were strong and their stories were good.
What I didn't like
At least 20 minutes needs to be cut.
Extensive work on lighting cues & sound cues and volume increased.
The lead MUST get off book for the play to even start to work work.
My overall impression
Lots of hard working cast members with failed sound & lighting marks that often left actors in complete darkness.
It was very clear that the lead actor was being fed lines on an ear piece and that killed the pace of the show completely. The premise is a good one but needs to have at least 20 minutes cut. The dancing boy scene was absolutely not needed for the story.
