My overall impression
Wow! I enjoyed every second of American Conspiracy. The diner scenes were fantastic, and the emotional tension between mother and daughter felt as if I was witnessing a typical family drama. The interaction between the son battling to save the oil company and the self-interested banker resulted in a thought-provoking twist, providing an imaginative peek behind the scenes of politics and power. The story and dialogue were riveting. Great job to this outstanding fringe team, including the director and especially the writer! I hope to see this show move to more SoCal stages.
