What I liked

  • Fresh, envelope-pushing humor that never felt forced.
  • Each character was so clearly defined and bursting with personality.
  • Moments of show-stealing realness, e.g. “It stings less if I celebrate it.”
  • Great silent cell phone gag around the midpoint.
  • Dynamic characters. At first I thought the fiancee was abrasive but by the end I completely empathized with her. That actor was phenomenal!
  • Genuinely funny and touching.

What I didn't like

I didn’t want it to end!

My overall impression

Amazing! Funny, thoughtful script that had me feeling like a fish on a line, being tugged in one direction with tense, awkward moments and in another direction with full-on belly laughs. Excellent performances from all the actors, especially the women in the show. It flew by. I wish it could’ve been two happy hours long!
