About the Project
During the war on drugs in Mexico, a woman must run away from her home. Wishing to provide a better life for her child, Gloria, must leave her baby behind to go to America, where she can get a job and send back money. Promising one day her daughter will come to America and consumed by her dreams,Gloria heads off. Soon she realizes the journey isn’t as easy as it seemed. Gloria finds people from all over the world that share the same goals as she does. and together, they try to survive hell in hope for heaven.
This story is told through poetry, rap, music, dancing and very little dialogue.
