The Stars

The Stars is a once in a lifetime show. Everything has come together for Ceaseless Fun with this piece. Writing, performance, and location all meld into a mind bending, urgent, fun experience. It deconstructs our notions of identity and fame and even what it means to be alive in the time of social media and the internet. The Stars left me mentally drained in a good way. At a point, I felt a profound sense of hopelessness, and from there, was brought all the way back to a yearning to strive to be a better person and that beauty and life are just around the next corner. The place, the place, the place. Their use of Hollywood is amazing. It's a great example of how a place can become a character. During my show, I met, saw, and heard more lucky people, things, and places than I could count.
