The Stars is a once in a lifetime show. Everything has come together for Ceaseless Fun with this piece. Writing, performance, and location all meld into a mind bending, urgent, fun experience. It deconstructs our notions of identity and fame and even what it means to be alive in the time of social media and the internet. The Stars left me mentally drained in a good way. At a point, I felt a profound sense of hopelessness, and from there, was brought all the way back to a yearning to strive to be a better person and that beauty and life are just around the next corner. The place, the place, the place. Their use of Hollywood is amazing. It's a great example of how a place can become a character. During my show, I met, saw, and heard more lucky people, things, and places than I could count. From the billboards and storefronts to the people and even the sky drive mad, everything is full of color. There was no better way to use it. ... full review

A very fun experience that seemed to have something specific to say. However, all the external stimuli and the disconnect between the personas made the message unclear.... full review

This show unfolds as a mini-adventure down Hollywood Boulevard. As the night moves forward, you encounter several people who want to share a few thoughts on image, fame, personal legacies and how Hollywood shapes the desires of so many people in this world. While taking in the sights of Hollywood, you encounter a series of vibrant individuals willing to dissect everything around you. It's fascinating, unpredictable and constantly shifting in vibe and tone since the show takes place out in the bustling open space of Hollywood Blvd.... full review
