The Other Side of the Razor Ribbon is such a great story, authentic and honest, as is Stacy's performance. The way she combines the two stories is riveting and keeps your attention from start to finish. The original score by her son, Derrick, is a lovely touch. I really appreciated Stacy's vulnerability and emotionality, which of course, with true, personal stories is the key!...

Stacy's brave vulnerability, honesty, and total likability make this solo show fully engaging, emotional, raw, and uplifting. The music was a beautiful backdrop as well, and I loved Stacy's sense of humor in the face of our darkest moments - it's so important in life!...

I love Stacy!!! She offers a very touching and heart-warming perspective to realities of single-parenting, desperation and divorce that you might guess have already been over-stated and “used-up”! You would be all wrong.
We are always interested in the transformation of our fears into potential growth and goodness. Stacy takes us from the universal truths of fear and pain and transforms us all into humans, right on the spot, which is always more tender and sweet than we could have planned for or imagined.
BRAVA!!!❤️❤️

Stacy Dymalski captured Producer Michael Blaha, who also brought us two Edinburgh Fest successes this season, and she uses her hour to showcase the musical talents of her son Derrick, too. HER story is about how at the lowest ebb of her own life she put her professional skills to use mentoring a Federal prisoner into improving and publishing (as JACUMBA CONNECTION) the story HE had to tell about human trafficking on the Mexican border. Maybe after he finishes his punitive sentence we'll be seeing HIM here at Fringe was well! I'll bet THAT story will still be Trendy then!
(Like Michael Blaha's ECHOES, which ought to be called CAPTURED!, this show ne...

A heartwarming and emotional, yet very funny tale of divorce and overcoming hopelessness by taking a risk. That risk panned out into something truly incredible and inspiring - and entirely relevant. Well worth watching!...
